Can My Friends Visit My Loft Suite If They're in Regular Cabins…

If I book a loft suite and my friends are staying in regular balcony cabins, are they allowed to visit me in my room? I assume they can’t use amenities reserved for suite guests, but would it be okay if they just hung out with me in the suite?

There’s a locked door that leads to the hallway for the loft suites. You’ll need to meet your friends at that door because their sea pass won’t unlock it, so they won’t be able to get to your suite by themselves.

Yes, your friends can visit your room without issue.

Yep, no problem at all.

We stayed in a loft recently, and while we sometimes had to go get our friends past the card door, it wasn’t an issue. From what we saw, this seems to be pretty common. Staff didn’t seem bothered by it.

Our friends had a similar suite on a Virgin ship. We visited them a few times and drank their free drinks without any issues. I’m guessing this is a standard policy across most ships. Do they really expect you to say ‘yes, your friends can visit, but you can’t offer them a drink’?
