Can you use Amex points for cruises… does anyone know?

Does anyone know if there’s a way to transfer Amex points to a cruise line, like how they let you transfer to airlines? Just wondering if that’s an option.

You might want to try a quick search online for this kind of thing.

If I just googled everything, what would be the point of forums like this?

Fair enough. I guess forums are better for sharing personal experiences or more detailed advice that might not show up in a search.

Sometimes Virgin Cruises lets you use points, and you can transfer Amex points to Virgin. But that doesn’t happen all the time. You can also book cruises directly with Amex points, but the value isn’t usually great. Another idea is to use points for flights and save cash for cruises to build up more points.
