Planning a Christmas cruise? Here's something you might want to bring

The best thing we brought on our Christmas cruise was a super slim artificial tree. If you have a Five Below nearby (or can order online), they sell 4’ artificial trees that are really slim and come with a carry bag. It fits in the corner of any cabin, even inside rooms. The bag is super small, like the size of a camp chair bag! And it’s only $5.55. We went through security with it, carried it on, and no one even noticed. We added some battery-powered lights and small ornaments, and it was perfect for my kids. Highly recommend it!

You can also get little tabletop trees, which would be even easier to pack!

That sounds like a fun idea! It really makes your holiday more festive. I bet my kids would have thought I was the best mom ever if I did something like that.

I always order flowers for my cabin. It’s just something small that makes me happy.

They probably have trees on the ship too.

Not in your cabin though.

Why would anyone need to bring something like that?

I agree, it’s a bit much.

P&O cruises gives a small potted live tree in every cabin and even gave out ornaments to all passengers as a gift!

This feels like a very specific thing to bring. Most people probably fly to their cruise, so adding extra stuff like this would be tough. Even for those who drive, unless you’re staying in the departure port city, I doubt you’d bring something like this just for fun. Plus, you’d need a huge cabin to fit it. This is a major flex!
