Hey everyone… I’ve been watching Travel Blog Jamie and Emma Cruises, but I need more vloggers who actually stay in regular rooms and don’t only focus on luxury. I tried ‘Tips for Travellers,’ but Gary seems to dislike big cruise lines, family trips, and budget cabins, so it’s not helping me much. Ben and David are fun, but they mostly cover suites and high-end experiences. I use vlogs to plan my trips, so I need something more practical. Any recommendations? Thanks!
Just keeping the original post here for reference!

Check out Parodeejay. Dee and Jay are on a long cruise right now in an inside cabin, and they usually stick to budget-friendly options. They’ve done a few higher-end trips, but mostly it’s regular rooms on mainstream cruise lines. Their vlogs are really helpful, and Dee is a travel agent, so she shares a lot of good advice!
@Vince
Yeah! I like how they show the full experience, not just the ship itself.
@Vince
Their Regent cruise was a sponsored trip, and they were upfront about it. But usually, they’re pretty honest about what’s good and bad on every ship.
@Vince
That sounds great! I booked an inside cabin for summer with my 6-year-old. Not sure how we’ll feel after a week, but we’ll make it work. If the price is right, I’d do a longer trip in an inside cabin!
@Haru
We did a two-week transatlantic cruise in an inside cabin with a kid about that age, and it was totally fine! You’re out and about most of the time, so we barely noticed the lack of a window.
@Vince
Yes! Parodeejay is great. They seem to really love cruising and have fun together.
Life Well Cruised is good—lots of list-style videos and cruise reviews. Mostly regular cabins, nothing too fancy.
La Lido Loca covers cruise news (cue jazz hands) and ship and port reviews.
Emma’s great, but she mostly does European cruises.
Gary’s videos make me wish I had way more money to travel.
I was going to say Ben and David, but I get why you’re looking for something else.
For ship tours, check out Talking Cruise, Harr Travel, and Cruise Radio. Harr Travel is really good for cabin reviews, and Cruise Radio has a solid podcast covering cruise news and real passenger experiences. Nice to listen to while driving.
Thanks! Yeah, Ben and David are fun but not super helpful for planning. Just subscribed to Cruise Radio!

Ben and David, JJ Cruises, and Eat Sleep Cruise seem to go for drama and clickbait. Fun to watch, but they overreact to everything. I stopped watching them because of that.
Travels with Ben, Frazier at Sea, and Zach the Traveling Man focus on budget cruising. Since they travel solo, they really try to avoid those single-traveler fees.
Northern Viking Explorer covers more ports than ship experiences.
Cruising Canucks and Parodeejay check out a variety of ships.
Lately, I’ve been watching This Cruise Life—they’re obsessed with Margaritaville at Sea, which is the opposite of fancy.
I stopped watching Ben and David when they started doing nothing but clickbait. Parodeejay has a really good balance of budget and higher-end cruises.
Fraser at Sea is fantastic—super down-to-earth and helpful.

Love Fraser! Just wish I could understand his accent better!
Don’s Family Vacations is another good one.
Very UnOfficial Travel Guides is great—mix of travel and cruises. Haven’t watched lately since we’re not traveling right now, but it’s a solid channel.
Ryan and Kala (Canadian budget travelers who mostly stay in inside cabins)
Travel Spree (fun mix of cruise and general travel videos)
Parodeejay (they cover a lot of cruise activities and excursions)
These are my go-to channels!
Thanks, everyone! My YouTube watchlist is completely packed now!
