Does anyone know of any cruise lines that offer round trip transatlantic cruises from a Florida port? Every cruise I’ve checked seems to be one way. My wife and I would really like to return on the same ship. Anyone else looking for this or has found options?
Here’s the original post as it was written:

Those are called repositioning cruises, where ships are moved to different areas of the world for the next season.

Any trip can be a round trip if you have enough time in between! You can always do back-to-back cruises… Spend the summer in Europe and return in the fall!
The only real transatlantic cruises are with Cunard from New York. You won’t find round trip transatlantic cruises from Florida. You will mostly find repositioning cruises to and from Florida.
We did this on the Adventure of the Seas. It had to go in for dry dock maintenance. We sailed east from Florida on October 19, and returned on November 26 (after a slight delay). It’s not common, but you might get lucky!
If you’re open to leaving from New York, Cunard does a lot of transatlantic cruises back and forth.
No, generally you’ll find cruises going to Europe in the spring and returning to the US in the fall.
Sometimes a ship will need to go for dry dock, and that’s when you might find a transatlantic before and after the maintenance work. But that’s not too common, and it’s likely you’ll experience some construction work during the trip. This usually happens before the Europe season starts.
Not really, but if you’re okay with traveling to NYC, you can buy tickets on the Queen Mary 2 for a round trip: NYC → Southampton and back. I’ve done it, and the captain mentioned how many passengers were staying for the return trip. Lots of Brits also do this round trip.
I think most transatlantic cruises are one way. You might find one going from the US to Europe, and then you can find another one going the other way from Europe to the US. That way, you can do a back-to-back, but on different ships.
Holland America did this once, maybe last year. You could check their schedule to see if they are offering it again.
I just saw a cruise from Athens to Fort Lauderdale in late April. You could catch a ship from the US to Europe, then return on one of their cruises.
This summer, the Carnival Valor will be returning from the Mediterranean in mid-June. There are many repositioning cruises heading east in April and May. I’d check Vacations to Go where you can filter for repositioning and transatlantic options. We’re going to Spain on Holland America in April and returning on Valor. Or, you can go on a repositioning cruise and return on Cunard.
