My girlfriend and I often take cruises with Royal Caribbean, and we’ve had a great time on several of our excursions there. However, we wanted to look into other options. We’re not “Disney adults” and don’t have children, but after looking at the various cruises, it looks like they have excellent cuisine and locations. We are not Disney fans, and we do not have children, so I was thinking if it would be worth it.
If you’re not a Disney fan, it’s not worth the price. I absolutely loved all the Disney themeing and magical touches, so even though the food and service were the finest I’ve ever experienced on a cruise line, I still thought it was worth it. There must be a more upscale cruise line that would be more appropriate for you.
I wouldn’t suggest it if your goals are food and ports and you’re not a huge Disney fan. For obvious reasons, the programming is significantly biased toward these properties. Depending on your age and tastes, I would strongly suggest one of the other premium lines, such as HAL, Princess, or Celebrity. What more do you want from a cruise?
Most likely not worthwhile. Virgin or Celebrity are worth checking at if you’re seeking for delicious meals and travel spots.
