On cruises, what do people do all day long?

Thanks for stopping by, I am aware that cruising offers a plethora of activities beyond lounging poolside. When I make my next cruise reservation, I’d like to do some new things. What are some people’s favorite things to do on a ship, whether they’re alone or with other passengers?

When we are on vacation, the wife and I move at two different speeds. Normally, she has a hectic daily routine. Cruising is not a calendar, therefore. She eats whenever she wants, reads, and lounges on the terrace.

I most likely have adult ADHD that has gone undetected. I am unable to simply sit. I’m everywhere on the ship. Music, movies, trivia, but mostly simply people observing. I occasionally attend demos or cooking classes. I get off at the harbor and just stroll about.

That’s why we find cruising enjoyable. You are free to engage in activities or not.

I usually look for a less busy spot to read or write while sipping a latte.

I enjoy working out, going to the casino, reading, playing team trivia, and going to educational events during the day.
I enjoy playing board games and going to musical performances in the evenings.

I make an effort to meet yoga enthusiasts early on in my trip so we can practice morning sessions together. Though it takes a lot of asking around, it’s not always simple to find

Naps are nice, my wife crochets, I read, and I enjoy watching the world go by. Day 7 of Sun Princess’s 8-day crossing.

I spend a lot of time either reading or cross stitching. I also really like to go listen to all the music around the ship. My husband, on the other hand, is usually in the pool, on the flowrider, etc. He’s much more active. We also try to catch up on sleep.

We have breakfast at the buffet to start the day. Then spend the day swimming and reading on our loungers in a calm, shaded area (typically Sanctuary as we only sail Princess). After taking a shower back at the cabin, head to the wine bar in time for dinner. We enjoy going to game shows or listening to music.

How does one spend a day at home?

Hello everyone, I am aware that there are a ton of activities available at home besides watching TV. I’m interested in trying out new things when I’m at home, so I was wondering what folks enjoy doing alone or with others when they’re at home.

We do a lot of card games or the games the ship provides. Also really enjoy watching the sea, especially when going into or out of ports.

Go for a stroll on the upper deck(s) to get some fresh air, play a game of table tennis, browse the stores, attend events listed in the daily schedule on the app, or play cards.

My Mom signed us up for a napkin folding class many years ago and I didn’t want to go. It’s now a skill that I have used often when having dinner parties at home and I’ve shown friends how to do at restaurants.
