At Thanksgiving dinner today, we decided to take a family trip to Alaska next year. Based on our schedule, we’ve narrowed it down to Princess or NCL for the cruise. I’ve only sailed with Royal Caribbean and NCL before. Is Princess better than NCL or is that just marketing talk? I did the NCL Epic and Getaway, and I was honestly disappointed. I prefer the old style of the Dawn before COVID, but that’s probably not coming back.
What does Princess do better that NCL doesn’t? And where does NCL shine that Princess doesn’t? Thanks!

NCL docks far away from town in Ketchikan and then you have to take a shuttle bus into town, while Princess docks right in Ketchikan. Princess is known for their Alaska sailings and has a great reputation for it.
