What’s the best way to spend a day in Key West?

I’m going on a Celebrity cruise in February and one of the stops is Key West! I’ll have about six hours there, what should I do? :cocktail::palm_tree:

Here’s what I’d do: start with the key lime pie shop, then head over to the Hemingway house and pet the cats. After that, go down Duval Street for a drink or two. Finish up at the Key West Trading Company for some absinthe or local rum.

I visited the Judy Blume bookstore and she was there! Growing up, Judy Blume was a huge part of my teen years, so that was special for me. Not everyone might feel the same, but if you’re a fan, definitely check it out.

You’ve gotta see the Butterfly Conservatory. It’s just a few blocks from the Southernmost Point. It’s a really nice spot!

Everything mentioned is great, but I’m all about Kermit’s for the best key lime pie!

Apart from what everyone else has said, I like walking around the neighborhoods and checking out the cute houses.

This restaurant is so delicious! It’s one of my favorites for cruise stops!

Definitely worth seeing the Hemingway House if you like cats! The six-toed cats are adorable.

I had to get my picture at the southernmost point! But I had already taken one at the northernmost point, so had to complete the set. The shops around are great for picking up souvenirs too.
